Dos Ruedas Coffee humbly began 5 yrs. ago with the purchasing of cherries from my cousin. I would then help process that coffee and then export it to the United States.
Now, partnering with small farmers in the prestigious Horqueta growing area of Boquete, I am able to select and harvest the highest quality fruit available. I select growers that use only sustainable, ethical and "just being a good human" farming practices. Growers that have adopted biodiversity on their farms has allowed the coffee plants to flourish with little use of harsh chemicals and fertilizers. This allows me to bring a coffee that a customer can feel good about serving.
And a coffee where you can definitely taste the difference!
Concentrating on the quality of the coffee and not quantity is my ultimate goal. I want to produce a unique coffee that exemplifies the beautiful terroir that Panama has to offer.
I am passionate about producing coffee using new and unique processing techniques as well as a "hands on approach". A meticulous attention to detail with every step of production.
